    • Two Abarth 124 compete in the Rallye Aveyron Rouergue Occitanie in France

      • The Milano Racing Team sends two crews to the fifth stage of the French championship.
      • Young Nicolas Ciamin (FRA) looks to repeat his successful R-GT+ performance of the Rallye Lyon-Charbonniere.
      • Team mate and gentleman driver Richard Bourcier (FRA), a classic car pilot, makes his rally début.

Two Abarth 124 rally from the Milano Racing Team are competing this weekend in the Rallye Aveyron Rouergue Occitanie, the fifth stage of the French Championship, starting in Rodez on Friday 6 July. The cars are entrusted to the young Nicolas Ciamin (FRA), paired with Antony Vilanova (FRA) and to gentleman driver Richard Bourcier (FRA) and his navigator Jean-Marc Ducousso (FRA).
After his decisive win at the Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières, Ciamin had to skip the next stage, the Rallye des Vosges, because it clashed with the Italia-Sardegna World Rally, but the Abarth 124 rally still won in the capable hands of Raphael Astier (FRA) and Frédéric Vauclaire (FRA).
His partner on this occasion will be Bourcier, a gentleman driver who regularly races his Lancia Delta Integrale in classic car rallies. He raced on S2000 cars in the past, achieving particularly great results in this race. It will be his début on a modern Abarth 124 rally, one of the most spectacular cars in this speciality racing. It is as spectacular as it is effective, since the Milano Racing Team has already won three times this year, including the Astier stage of the Tour de Corse, part of the FIA R-GT Cup, the "World Championship" for Grand Tourer cars.
The Rallye Aveyron Rouergue Occitanie has two stages. The first starts in Rodez at 9.00 am on Friday 6 July, and ends at 10.18 pm that evening. The second race goes from 9.00 am to 6.58 pm on Saturday 7 July. The 653 km racing course is entirely on asphalt, and entails 209 km of time racing, split over 12 special trials.
