    • Another R-GT victory for the Abarth 124 rally driven by Italian Andrea Nucita in the Slovenian Championship

      • In the Rally Porec, Andrea Nucita and Giorgia Ascalone finish 9th overall and win their category, unbeatable amongst 2 Wheel Drive cars.
      • In Spain, in the Rally Villa de Llanes, 2nd place in the GT category for Spanish pair Alberto Monarri and Rodrigo Sanjuán.
      • Thrilling performance by French driver Nicolas Ciamin, alongside Antony Vilanova, in the Rallye Coeur de France, valid for the French Championship.

It was the season's third R-GT category win in the Slovenian Championship for Italian driver Andrea Nucita who, paired on this occasion with Giorgia Ascalone, drove the Bernini Rally team's Abarth 124 rally to 9th place overall in the Rally Porec. The same team also achieved victory in the women's table with the Italian pair of Masha Mularo and Paola Valmassoi, who thus repeated their success amongst the Ladies in the previous event, the Rally Nova Gorica. It was a tough race, with a very twisty, treacherous course, but the masterly Italian driver brought home a win that in practice assures him the R-GT category title in the Slovenian Championship.
Nucita: "It was important to record our third win in succession in a championship that has brought us lots of good results and two overall third places, in the Vipavska and Zelezniki rallies. Here, the spectators cheer us on and inspire us to put up a good show."
There was a tough challenge facing the Spanish pair of Alberto Monarri and Rodrigo Sanjuàn, who, at the wheel of their Team SMC Junior Motorsport 124 rally, drove an attacking race, occupying 8th place overall in the first part of the event. Even though they had fallen behind in the last 3 timed stages, in the final stage they managed to seize a final second place in the Gran Turismo category.
Young French driver Nicolas Ciamin put in an outstanding performance, as he has throughout the season, alongside Antony Vilanova in the French Championship. In the Rallye Coeur de France, at the end of the first stage Ciamin was in 5th place overall, confirming the excellent performances of the Team Milano Racing's Abarth 124 rally, a very impressive feat in view of the large number of official team 4-wheel drive cars driven by very experienced drivers taking part in the event. However, unluckily the Frenchman was forced to retire at the start of the last day of the race. Team Milano Racing will be able to make up for this at the next event, the Criterium des Cevennes, to be held on 26 and 27 October, when FIA R-GT Cup World Champion, Raphael Astier, will be driving in its colours.
