The duel between the Italian and Scandinavian drivers that characterized the first part of the season will be repeated in the "temple of speed". Leading the general ranking is the defending champion Cosimo Barberini from Italy, strong of six wins that earned him a score of 193 points, against the 178 of Finn Juuso Pajuranta, with three wins under his belt. In third place is young Italian Andrea Mabellini (1 win, 141 points), ahead of Swede Robin Appelqvist (102 points).
The programme of the weekend in Monza sees the qualifiers at 12.15 pm on Saturday, October 6. The two races will be held on Sunday at 9 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. respectively and will be broadcast live on Sportitalia (channel 60 DVTT in Italy).
Many members of the Scorpionship, the official Abarth community, will be watching the race in Monza. They are invited to experience the competition in close contact with the teams and drivers in the paddock and even the pit lane before each race starts.
