      Abarth is an exciting brand for both racing drivers and ordinary motorists, who can enjoy safe driving in competitions and at the events held for fans. Next weekend, two Abarth 124 rally cars race in France, in the Criterium des Cevennes, with newly crowned FIA R-GT Cup world champion Raphael Astier, with Frédéric Vauclare, and in Slovenia, in the Rally Idrija, with Italians Andrea Nucita and Nico Salvo, respectively. At the same time, the final races in the Abarth Selenia Trophy and the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth will be held on the Mugello circuit in Italy. On Saturday 27 October the Vallelunga circuit near Rome will host the Abarth Day, the traditional gathering that brings fans together for a major Scorpion brand festival.
      Abarth 124 rally Selenia International Challenge
      Newly crowned holders of the FIA R-GT Cup world championship with four victories in four races, this weekend the French pair of Astier and Vauclare take part in the Criterium des Cevennes rally, valid for the French Championship, with the Milano Racing Team's Abarth 124 rally. On this occasion they are standing in for very young driver Nicolas Ciamin, who will be competing in a World Championship Race as part of the French Championship's Young Drivers' Project.
      The Criterium des Cevennes starts from Montepellier at 2.05 pm on Friday 26 October and ends at 7 pm on Saturday 27. There are ten special test stages, with a total of 160 km of time trials.
      Italians Andrea Nucita and Nico Salvo, on the other hand, will be racing in the Rally Idrija, valid for the Slovenian Championship, in the Bernini Rally team's Abarth 124. The Scorpion roadster has already attracted attention with impressive performances in this championship, as Nucita has driven it to two overall third places in the Vipavska and Zelezniki rallies.
      The Rally Idrija starts at 3 pm on Saturday 27 October and ends at 4 pm on Sunday 28, after 7 special stages with a total of 77 km of time trials.
      Abarth Selenia Trophy
      The Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione and Abarth 500 Assetto Corse cars will be the stars of the season-ending event of the Abarth Selenia Trophy, on the Mugello circuit. The last two races, scheduled for the weekend - the first on Saturday 27 October at 12.20 pm and the second on Sunday at 11.30 am - will be decisive for the award of the title. Current champion Cosimo Barberini (ITA) heads the overall ranking with 232 point, ahead of Finish driver Juuso Pajuranta with 207 and very young Italian competitor Andrea Mabellini, with 202. The title in the category reserved for Abarth 500 Assetto Corse has already been won by Filippo Lazzaroni, with the women's title going to Aurora Coria.
      Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth
      Mugello also hosts the end of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth season, in which the very young drivers who have graduated from the kart class compete on a level playing-field at the wheel of the Tatuus single-seater with Abarth engine. Here again, the title fight is wide open, with Italian Leonardo Lorandi first on 266 points, 9 more than Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi, grandson of two-times F1 world champion, Emerson. British driver Olli Caldwell is third with a score of 228 points. There are three races scheduled: at 1.10 pm on Saturday 27 October, and 9 am and 3.30 pm on Sunday 28.
      Abarth Day
      You don't have to be a racing driver to have fun with Abarth. The Abarth Day, the special day for fans of the brand, will be held at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome on Saturday 27 October, enabling participants to take to the track in their Abarth cars of any age and model, to test drive the new range of models both on the circuit and on the road, and enjoy the Taxi drive Rally experience seated next to professional racing drivers.       The Italian event is the seventh organised in Europe. Abarth Days have already been held this year in Austria, France, Portugal, Great Britain, Spain and Germany, attracting thousands of fans in their Abarth cars.
