      • Belgian Caprasse will be competing in the Stadte Rally in Germany.

      This is the weekend of the Rallye du Valais in Switzerland, the last round of the FIA Cup R-GT World Championship, already mathematically won by the Abarth 124 rally of Frenchmen Raphael Astier and Frédéric Vauclaire of the Milano Racing Team. It will be a formality for them but they will have to deal with Italians Andrea Nucita and Marco Vozzo of the Bernini Rally Team, who are second in the ranking. A third Abarth 124 rally will be lined up by the Swiss team Zeughaus Garage with Beat Wyssen behind the wheel together with his daughter Janine. Astier won all three of the races he competed in (Tour de Corse, Rally di Roma Capitale and Barum Rally Zlin) and has secured the championship title with one race to spare.
      Rallye du Valais will be starting from Martigny at 8:10 in the morning of Friday, October 19 and will consist of two legs. The first will end at 5:05 in the afternoon, while the second will run from 7:27 in the morning to 5:45 in the afternoon on Saturday 20. There will be 18 special stages on tarmac (with bits on dirt) for a total of 200 kilometres at timed speed.
      At the same time, Team SMC Junior Motorsport drivers Alberto Monarri and Rodrigo Sanjuán are looking to score in the Rally Cantabria Santander in Spain that would allow them to make a serious bid for the Two-Wheel Drive title in the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship. The race will start at 7 o'clock in the evening on Friday, October 19 with the special show stage on the karting track of La Roca. On the following day, there will be other 10 special stages for a total of 133 kilometres at timed speed, finishing at 8:30 in the evening. The fifth Abarth crew engaged next weekend is the one formed by Belgian Jean Luc Caprasse, strong of his R-GT category win in the Lower-Saxony Rally at the beginning of September, with crew mate Marc Prignon.
      The Belgian duo will be competing in Germany in the Rally Stadte consisting of two legs all on tarmac in Eastern Bavaria. The first will start in Standort at 3:45 in the afternoon on Friday, October 19, and will end at 8:57 p.m. on the same day. The second leg will start on Saturday, October 20 at 8:45 in the morning and end 4:40 in the afternoon, after 12 special stages for a total of 126 kilometres at timed speed, on a 400-kilometre-long course.
